Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how ESGFlux.com (“ESGFlux”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), operated by Austen Plummer from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, handles refunds and cancellations. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, our Merchant of Record. Refund requests are handled by us but executed by Paddle.
1. Free trial
New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with no payment required. You will not be charged during the trial period and can cancel at any time without obligation. If you do not convert to a paid plan, the trial simply expires and your account moves to a limited read-only state.
2. 14-day money-back guarantee
If you are dissatisfied with the Service for any reason, you may request a full refund within 14 daysof your first paid invoice. Refunds under this guarantee are approved as a matter of course and processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method.
This 14-day guarantee applies only to your initial purchase. Renewal invoices are not eligible for a guaranteed refund but may be refunded at our discretion (see section 4).
3. Cancellations
- You can cancel your subscription at any time via the billing portal linked from your account, or by emailing us.
- When you cancel, your access continues until the end of the current paid period. No further charges are made.
- Cancellation does not by itself trigger a refund. If you want a refund in addition to cancellation, request one explicitly.
- Pro-rated refunds for the unused portion of a billing period are not provided, except where required by consumer protection law in your country of residence.
4. Discretionary refunds outside the guarantee window
After the 14-day window, refunds may still be issued at our discretion in the following circumstances:
- A documented service outage or material defect that prevented you from using the Service.
- A duplicate or accidental charge.
- A renewal that occurred after you reasonably believed the subscription was cancelled (e.g. support ticket on file).
- Demonstrable misrepresentation of features by us.
We will not typically issue refunds for: change of mind after the 14-day window; failure to use the Service; or cancellation within the final days of a billing period where the renewal has already processed.
5. Enterprise and annual plans
Enterprise subscriptions and any annual prepaid plans are governed by the terms of the signed order form or agreement. If no specific refund terms are stated there, the 14-day guarantee and discretionary terms in this policy apply.
6. Taxes and fees
Refunds include any VAT or sales tax originally charged at checkout. Paddle processes tax adjustments as part of the refund. Currency conversion fees applied by your bank or card issuer are not refundable by us.
7. Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback. Most issues can be resolved quickly by email, and a chargeback forces us to close your account to avoid double recovery. We reserve the right to dispute chargebacks where a refund was available on request or had already been issued.
8. How to request a refund
Send an email to hello@esgflux.com including:
- The email address on your ESGFlux account.
- The date and amount of the charge (or the Paddle transaction ID from your receipt).
- A brief reason for the request.
We respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed by Paddle and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your card issuer or bank.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email at least 30 days before taking effect. The policy in force at the time of your purchase governs that purchase.
